Affordable and easy family travel
Let’s be honest, kids simply make things more expensive and difficult.
When we told people that we were pregnant with our first baby, they told me “Oh, well I guess you’re not going to be traveling for a long time now!”.
I was determined to prove them wrong. So, I booked tickets to Paris with my then 6-month-old baby.
(And we MADE $2,000 going on that vacation. I hope your mind is blown)
I grew up in a family of 6. 6! Each extra person makes travel so much more expensive, yet with our travel tricks we travelled all over the world.
And your family can too!

By the time my first was 2, he had gone on over 15 flights. Many long international flights. I got an even earlier start with my daughter…she took her first long haul flight at 3 weeks old!!!
I’ve had great flights with babies and littles, and rough flights with them. But through my own kids and helping other families I’ve learned how to set yourself up for success traveling with them

A bit more about me
My parents wanted to travel the world with their family.
But there was a big roadblock in our way to family travel around the world.
My dad is a teacher and my mom stayed at home to raise us. With a family of 6, we didn’t think we could take international vacations. There was just no way we could afford it!!
Growing up in Colorado we still had a pretty adventurous childhood. We hiked up mountains, rafted down rivers, and chased fresh powder skiing every winter weekend.
And oh. The family roadtrips. Hours in the minivan to explore the US and cry when my brother breathed on me….good times.
While we had a blast… we still weren’t discovering the world the way we wanted to.
All that changed when my mom figured out how to vacation for cheap. And the more she learned, the cooler the vacations became!
We stayed at 5-star resorts, and paid less than staying a week at our local chain hotel. Everyone became scuba certified and went whale watching on Christmas Eve on a tiny marine biologist’s boat in Mexico.
Now I work as a cancer nurse in Denver.
I go all over the world with my 3 year old, Lincoln (thinks he’s a Spiderman pirate), and my baby, Holland (who smiles all the time).
I work with people coaching them to learn the tricks to plan their own dream vacations.
I am a believer that the more you know about where others come from, the more compassionate and well-rounded you become. That’s an important quality I want to nurture in myself and my family.
I thought I never could afford to travel the world, but I can and do. And so can you!
