What is a flight finder website?
Scott’s Cheap Flights is my favorite flight finder website, and it should be yours too!
A flight finder website is a company that looks for all the best flight deals for you and sends you the very best ones. We used to spend hours, days and sometimes even weeks looking for a good deal on a flight and we still knew that we were missing a lot of them.
Yes we went on cheap vacations but spent so much time looking for them that it was tedious and hard work (mostly done by my awesome mom). Learning about flight finder sites was a game changer!
You enter in your departure airports and you automatically get sent an email whenever an AWESOME deal is found. You don’t have to do any work other than actually booking the flight you want.
They give you great info about each flight, including: the destination, possible departure airports, dates you can leave for the deal, price estimates, extra fees (like baggage), airlines that have the deal and an estimation of how long the deal might last.
Best of all these sites are FREE or SUPER CHEAP!!!!!!!!

Why Scott's Cheap Flights?
Like I gushed earlier, Scott’s Cheap Flights is my all time favorite way to find a good deal on a flight.
It’s super easy, very clear to use and they do all the work for you!
It’s really is one of the best ways to start working on cheap vacations if this all seems new to you. They really do find the best deals. My friend who was a flight attendant now uses it because the deals are so good, and she is used to flying for free!

BUT. If you want ALL the deals, including flights during the holidays, the best deals and mistake fares (like when airlines enter in the wrong price and that $1200 flight becomes $120) then you’ll need premium.
It is 100% worth it and only $50 a year. Honestly I would pay much much more than that because it will pay for itself many times over on the first ticket you buy. Because no matter what, you are paying $100’s less per ticket.

There are lots of different ways to find great deals on hotels (my kids LOVE the pool too!!). I go over this really extensively in my dream travel in your budget masterclass but some quick tricks are…
1. for last minute stays use HotelTonight for really great discounts
2. use websites that let you collect rewards (Hotels.com, Expedia, Booking.com…) to earn free nights
3. look on a different country’s version of the same site (like Canadian Hotels.com is ca.Hotels.com) and you will often find better prices for the same hotels. And no fees if you use a travel credit card with no foreign transaction fees! (And you’ll earn points for free travel too!)
